Jennifer Holloway Sales Representative It's that time of year when the downtown streets are filled with ven- dors selling fresh produce, baked goods and more. The Acton and George- town farmers markets are just around the corner. Here's everything you need to know: 1. The Acton market kicks off June 3 and runs on Thursday evenings (4 to 7 p.m.) through to Oct. 7, while the Georgetown market gets underway on June 5 and will run every Saturday until Oct. 16 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 2. In Georgetown, ven- dors will be located on Main Street South be- tween Church and James streets, and in the Church Street parking lot. The Ac- ton market will be set up on Willow Street North, between Mill and Bower streets, in front of the Town Hall Centre. 3. With the pandemic continuing, the events have COVID-19 protocols in place, including social distancing requirements, additional cleaning mea- sures, masking, etc. 4. The Georgetown market is establishing a unique online platform where vendors can display their products and take or- ders, which will be avail- able for pickup on Satur- day mornings in the Back Street parking lot.
