The game of the week was a tight game between Municipal Trust and Andrew Murray Motors. Both teams were evenly matched in the first half. Leah Crane kicked a third quarter goal for the Motors while Jaclyn Neial, just back from Ireland, made a great save with her face when Trust player Bethan Elliott charged the goal. In the fourth quarter, Municipal Trust Player Bethan tied the game 1-1 with a solo run. Playing well-on defense for the Trust team were Lindsay Sproule, Jackie Spittal and Jennifer Varey with good positional play by all. The Andrew Murray Motors players who were playing well were Kathryn Weston on Defense, ‘ood with great running and Jaclyn Neil with great blocking.
