All are boys (between the ages of 6 and 14) who are from fatherless homes that could really benefit from a positive male role model in their lives. “Dane” is an 8 year old boy who has been waiting two years for a Big Brother. Dane never knew his father as he left when Dane’s moth- er was pregnant. Dane’s mother has never received child support and is presently on welfare. Dane’s mother finds it increas- ingly difficult to meet the needs of her four young children.
