By Dianne Cornish The man whose name rests on the new red brick building at the corner of Main and Maple streets in Georgetown said “it was teamwork, through and through” which led to the building of the Cote Terrace Seniors’ Apartments. Rev. David Cote said he and the late Dick Willis were the “original instigators” of the rent-geared-to- income seniors’ complex which officially opened last Wednesday. The former Holy Cross parish priest, now stationed in Hanover, said the project grew from an idea that he shared with Willis “on a frosty October morning in 1988.” While expressing personal pleasure and amazement in seeing the apart- ment up and running so quickly, Rey. Cote acknowledged that its success lies in the teamwork capa- bilities of all levels of govern- ments, as well as the apartment’s board of directors and its builder, Afford Accom Ltd.
