VOLUME |, ISSUE 6 THE ACTON MONTHLY PAGE I3, Hillsview Active Living Centre holds AGM, elects new executive for 2023 The Hillsview Active Living Centre, Acton branch, held their Annual General Meeting on March 28th. During the AGM, a report on the Centre’s ierormenien for the 2022 calendar year was presented, whicl highlighted some accomplishments. For 2022, membership was 305 with 53 new members signing up. It was noted that out of the 56 members who volunteered during 2022, they logged in over 4,500 hours which contributed to the operation of Hillsview. Additionally, the Centre was able to make a profit of $23,095, with funding provided from the Town of Halton Hills. The AGM also sprorvesh the election of the new executive board for 21 The now past-president, Dave McLean, has the distinction of being the longest-servin; president of 4 years due to the pandemic, compared to usual two-year term. Elected for the new executive include Dora Jefferies as as Board Member at Large. Linda Gordon was re-elected as Treasurer.
