New Commercial Package Policies Kids enjoy everything about e Halloween — the treats, the Fo costumes and just being out at night. It's up to you, as a parent, to keep in mind the most important aspect of Halloween — your children's safety. Make sure your children are accompanied by an adult, either yourself or someone you trust. ¢ Inspect all treats before allowing your children to eat them. ¢ When checking treats, look for torn wrappers and packaging that has been tampered with. When in doubt, throw it out. ¢ Fruit should be washed and cut into small pieces before eating. ¢ Let your children trick-or-treat only in well-lit neighborhoods, preferably at the homes of people you know. ¢ Face paints are always better than masks, since masks can obscure vision. ¢ Keep costumes manageable. Long costumes can cause children to trip over them. ¢ Remember to add reflective tape to all costumes for visibility. SAG it ee BY (a iJ Aes
