Rockell There have been articles recently predicting that 1992 RRSP contri- butions will be lower than in 1991, and 1991 was lower than 1990. This is a pity, because RRSPs are be used to each taxpayer’s advan- tage and, second, to reflect on why the Federal Government has made these changes. First, the RRSP contribution for 1992 is based on 18% of your 1991 earned income to a maximum of $12,500. From this amount you must deduct, if you have a pension plan, the 1991 PA pension adjust- ment in Box 52 of your 1991 T4.
