In late October, town council authorized administra- tive staff to release the $15,000 security pending receipt of a letter from Williams’ and Bos’ letter indi- cating that they were happy with the repairs. Bos, through his lawyer, has expressed his satisfac- tion and has no objection to having the funds released to the contractors who completed the remedial work. However, Williams said he has “dropped” his lawyer and he isn’t satisfied with the repairs. The video at council showed mushrooms coming through the new asphalt, a newly-created drainage problem and a new, but crooked, retaining wall. “I’m in this for the long haul,” Williams warned council while demanding that the work be done properly. He also indicated that he wants compensation for the monies that he has spent in his three-year battle to get the building and its site up to standard. “Someone has to pay me the money,” he said during Tuesday’s interview. “I'll bow my head and take the real estate loss but I want the money I’ve spent to have this building put in proper shape,” he added. ——_—— GUARANTEED SERVICE WITH ALL SALES Phone 877-3405 14 WESLEYAN STREET Just off Main Street. n T: je SERVICE 5 eTown of Halton Hills urges you during the upcoming holiday season to... bi ¢ Avoid unnecessary packaging. : The amount of paper/tape you use to wrap in something “different.” 4 gifts or wrap them ¢ The amount of "throw away" materials you purchase, i.e. purchase in bulk and purchase re-fillables. bi % + Re-use your old wrapping papet and ribbons. © Don't throw out or can be used next year. gift boxes - they make ideal storage containers the shopping bags you carry your goodies home in. ¥ © Use your Blue Box for newspapers, tins and glass * bottles, magazines and PE.T. plastic bottles.
