He also com- mented that a bridge from “top to top” through the valley would cost about $29 million. As for people who are having difficulty visualizing the completed project, he said the Region hopes to solve that concern by authorizing an “imaging” of the plan sometime in 1993. Imaging means super- imposing what the bridge and embankment will look like over a photo of the existing valley. The large-scale photo and the ESR will be available at the regional offices in Oakville and the Halton Hills Civic Centre for public review. Funding of the project will be covered by subsidy dollars from the province, the region’s roads budget and development charges collected across Halton. Acton man stabbed For the second time in a week and Acton man has been stabbed following a domestic dispute. At about 4:30 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a call on Bower St. residence after an argu- ment erupted between a pair of people at the house. According to police, a 5l-year- old female "pulled a small knife" on a 45-year-old man and was "waving" the weapon at the victim. The man tried to kick the knife unsuccessful, police said. Police and ambulance officers were called to the scene and the dispute ended. The woman has been charged with assault with a weapon and weapons dangerous.
