The first break and enter took place Monday between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at a house on the Tenth Line. One or more suspects entered the house after the front door was pried open. Once inside the culprits removed a pair of RCA televisions. The following day, between 8:45 a.m. and 1 p.m., a pair of suspects entered a house on the Fourth Line through an insecure rear door. The culprits went through the house before removing a camcorder, VCR and CD player. The stolen property from the two homes was worth more than $2,600. Child injured A seven-year-old Georgetown girl suffered minor burns to her hands after an explosive device was set off Sunday morning. According to police, the child was searching through a closet at a house on 27 Sideroad near Trafalgar Rd. when she found one of three “Thunderflash” explosives. One of the devices was accident- ly set off causing the burns which were treated at Georgetown and District Memorial Hospital, police said. Police described the “Thunderflash” as a “large fire- cracker” used by the military as a noisemaker that is not intended to cause damage. Police said the other explosives were turned over to a member of the Explosive Disposal Unit and were later destroyed. Generator stolen A 250-pound tool box and a 125- pound generator were removed from a construction site on Maple Ave. west of Trafalgar Rd. some- time last weekend. Halton Regional Police, believe at least two people were involved in the theft. The equipment was worth an estimated $4,000. The investigation continues. 19 Full Colour Professional PACK AGE OFFER: ©1-8x10* © 2-5x7’s* e 0 Wallet Size (2x1)* are approxima ES sur election (1 pose} on reditenal usb Aditional portraits A acai Satisfaction guaranteed or your money cheerfully refunded.
