Weather plagues U.C. By Betty Sojka Ss pecial Bad weather kept the U.C.W. * March meeting to only five mem- bers. Mrs. Margaret Jamieson and Mrs. Edith Volmar were in charge of the program. A discussion was held on lotteries. Much of the business was held over to the next meeting when more members will be present. A verse was read from Psalms. which have the topics of “All About Me” and “Communication Skills”. Jennifer Mitchell didn’t hang around the house over March break. Off she went to Pioneer Sports Camp in Port Sydney for a Provincial 4-H Leadership Camp. Jennifer was one of seven chosen to represent Wellington County. A total of 94 boys and girls between the ages of 15 through 19 repre- sented 38 counties from all over itario. Activities included line and two step dancing, cross-country skiing and many one-on-one exercises where members learned how to effectively relate to people. They ——— Athletic feast The Student Athletic Association at Georgetown District High School will be holding its annual spaghetti dinner and Silent Auction Thursday (tomorrow) from 5-8 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
