After that goal, the Redmen’s offense seemed to grow stronger as the game went along. They had several shots on net, but were denied a goal. Central scored its second goal late in the first half, but their two-goal lead did not intimidate the Redmen. As in last week’s game against Pearson, the Redmen decided to switch goalies in the second half. The Redmen continued shooting at the net, but again, they couldn’t get the ball past Central’s goal- tender. The best scoring chance-for the Redmen came mid-way through the second half when Lisa Anderson shot the ball from the left-side of the field and the Central goaltender tipped it away with her fingers. Despite the strong offensive play by the Redmen, Central managed to score one more goal late in the half on a break-away to capture the vic- tory.
