Georgetown was awarded the honor of holding a provincial final for the TSN T.V. 1993 Pins Game Series, to be viewed this fall. This 1993 Hiram Walker Special Old “Pins Game” will consist of four series of $22,500.00 in prize money, a total of $90,000.00. The Georgetown competition was based on a 10-game flat (scratch) total pinfall with over 75 qualifying representatives from different B.P.A.C. bowling centres participating, including the seeded TSN, Western Champion Ron Mair. This tourney also carried cash prizes for each one of the top 10 finishers, the top award being ™ $500.00. The “Judge of Play” for this tourney was Georgetown’s own Andy Parent. ‘The final standing leader and champion-was John Conti of Hamilton with a 269.4 average for the 10 games. The runner-up was Paul Asselin of St. Catherines with a 260.4 average.
