The loss to the number one Burlington squad was tough as the Eagles let a 7-2 lead slip away. “We just didn’t have the pitching after Grahame (Kennedy) and we were short of players,” said manag- er Boyd Hoddinott. With key players lost to injury and to exam finals, the Pitching- short Eagles were ripe for the pick- ing in other action as well as their regular season record fell to 5-2. Halton Hills Blue team were also playing on June 15 at Chinguacousy Park in Brampton against Brampton A team. They battled to.a.4-4 tie. All four goals for Halton Blue team were scored by Jen Goy. Halton Blue team was strengthened recently with the additions of Danielle Cary, Tracy Andrews and Amy Longworth. These players will certainly help the Blue team to a successful season. Red team is playing Streetsville on June 28, 8:30 p.m. at Memorial Park in Streetsville.
