Mrs. Silk will be remembered for her coaching, her work with the federation and various school com- mittees and in the last 11 years, her support for students through our guidance department. Mr. Don Campbell will also be retiring. As a member of our Business Department, Don made many valuable contributions to school initiatives involving finances. His quiet, unassuming manner is respected by his col- leagues and his many contributions to the school will be missed. Mr. John Hatzifotis will also be leaving. Mr. John Gerwin will be remem- bered for his “Gntelligence, kind- ness and enthusiasm” in his work with the students and staff of our English and Business Departments. John will be teaching science at Acton HS next year. Mrs. Liz Cooney has been an energetic member of our science department for the Past two years and has made a significant contri- bution to our intermediate Program. General Brock HS in Burlington will be lucky to have her enthusi- asm and expertise: Mr. Mike Sherlock will be the new Acting Head of Math at Queen Elizabeth Park HS in Oakville next year.
