Acton Squirts lose 17-12 By Ellen Piehl Despite showing excellent defense, the Acton Squirt boys softball team was defeated 17-12 last Monday night as they played Glen Williams at Prospect Park. The Glen started the game off by taking a three-run lead at the top of the first inning. Acton scored the first run in the bottom of the inning when Mark Smith drove in Corey Havens from third base to cut the Glen’s lead to two runs. After one inning of play, the Glen led 3-2.
