Scarborough came out and scored quickly. The Hornets fought off a very aggressive Scarborough team well into the second half of the game and despite creating numerous scoring opportunities of their own, the Hornets were unable to find the net. Scarborough scored another goal late in the second half to secure a 2- 0 win. The following players deserve recognition for their outstanding performances and well-earned second place finish: Kate Blyth, Danielle Castiglione, Joy Walraven, Angela Orticello, Cortney O’Brien, Tracey Andrews, Cheryl and Carla Jenkins, Danielle Cary, Marci Roy, Louise Hatton, Jen Goy, Jill McMenemy, Danay Guignard and Christine Hohendorf.
