These two ' members of the jury each have four of their paintings displayed in the showcases of the Cultural Centre lobby. Following the president, Mr. Houstoun announced the award winners. Mr. Phillips announced the names of six Honorable Mentions. They are: Sarah elroy, Joan Lowndes, Carol-Ann Michaelson, Joseph Panacci, Dawn Schertz] and Wilma Stammler. However, it should: be pointed out, the jury was very tough. Only the best works got into the exhibi- tion, and everybody who is a participant has reason to be proud of this fact. Zevenhuizen and Paulette Murphy. : Nothing is time-worn in this exhibition, everything is fresh and original: The tired distinction between abstract and realistic becomes redun- dant before art works so well executed and thought out.
