VOLUME 1, ISSUE 10 THE ACTON MONTHLY PAGE 16 AROUND THE TOWN wa 7 An Artist At Work: During the first week of July, artist Joanne DeGraaf was busy beautifying the Bell box located outside the LCBO on Queen Street. DeGraaf, a secondary school art teacher from Port Credit, was selected to paint this box as part of an annual initiative between Bell Canada and the Town of Halton Hills. The acrylic painted mural, that DeGraaf created, is to reflect the various wildlife that inhabit the local Credit River Watershed. Floating On By: Fairy Lake seems to be quite the popular place for summer recreation, such as for some boating and fishing on a sunny afternoon, as captured in this photo. Even if you don’t have a boat, canoes are available for rent at the boathouse located in Prospect Park for all visitors to enjoy. “AW JUST IN: a7 Metal Collection Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, NEZZz Def Leppard, AC/DC, Kiss é ERIENCE THE VIBE > BUY > SELL MUSIC IS THE UNIFYING FORCE 43 MILL STREET EAST &@ TRADE ACTON, ON 519-853-4444 RECORDS & MUSIC Vinyland45@gmail.com RELATED ITEMS , EXPERT STEREO, EQUIPMENT @ © Vinyland45.com REPAIR & SALES
