For $5 per montl A full day of fun as Legion holds Open Washer Toss Tournament It was a day of fun under the sun as the Royal Canadian Legion 197, Acton Branch held their Open Washer Toss Tournament on Sunday, July 16th. nes the entire day, 15 teams competed in s of winning the grand prize of $130, along ny penal mugs and tickets for the Legion Second place would receive a prize of $70. ‘Teams were randomly selected by drawing names from a bucket and from there, contest- ants tested their skills of trying to land the washers into the box. Over the course of the day, teams were eliminated with the “best-o-the best” moving up through the ranks, eventually climbing to the highly anticipated finale. The teams that nament championship were team Tee Uiterwyck & Allan Kennedy, and Kelly Kennedy & Joe Jubinville. The aa winners of the tournament were team Uiterwyck & Kennedy.
