It would seem this very same production will be performed on Broadway, so GLT was asked to take a cur- tain call and “bow out.” They must have heard GLT was too good to compete with! At any rate, not to be dis- couraged, GLT has substitut- ed David V. Robinson’s Promenade All! as their pre- sentation in February. Promenade is a unique com- edy in that it takes place between 1895 and 1975, depicting four successive generations of the same fam- ily. And in the tradition of GLT’s successful presenta- tion of The Curate Shakespeare As You Like It, Promenade demands that different roles to help illus- trate its story!
