Both teams played great two-way games that featured many good scoring chances. Andrew Alarie and Tim Jasperson led the Hurricanes with a goal and assist. Robert Sgarbossa scored the other goal while Danny Styuert and Adam Kemp drew assists. The boys’ division winners won by bowling 331 pins better than their average while the girls’ section were 202 pins above their season average. In this tournament, each team is made up of a bantam, junior and senior bowler according to standing achieved in each league round. The team of Chris Primus, Jason McQuaid and Josh Cluney were leading after the first game, a plus 118 to the 99 of Brendan Louth, Michael Cluney and Jason Dinney while Willy Walker, Matthew Walker and Al Larocque were a plus 90. However, the Louth, Cluney, Dinney team ended the three game set a plus 331 while Primus, McQuaid and Cluney fell short with plus 252. In the girls’ division, the winners were decided by only a two-pin margin. The team of Natalie Larocque, Leanne Neil and Suzanne Larocque started with a plus 165 while Kelly Klimsiak, April Everingham and Chantal Morley were close and Pollock and Tara Brooks knocking on the door with a plus 112.
