The McNally Construction Minor Novice Raiders were in tough com- last weekend teams, Dundas and Hespeler. The Raiders played host to Dundas last Saturday losing a 5-3 battle, as Dundas came on strong in the first period scoring four goals. Both teams played to a scoreless second period. Hespeler came back with a goal before the second period came to an = closing the gap to 3-2. Both teams were fired up for the third period but Hespeler scored three times for a 5-3 lead. The Raiders pulled the goalie with under a minute left and despite of the action in front of the Hespeler net, the Raiders couldn’t squeeze the tying goal in. M&M Pee Wee Raiders suffer loss to Milton The Georgetown M & M Pro Sports Minor Pee Wees suffered a tough 9-2 defeat to Milton last Sunday at Gordon Alcott Memorial Arena. Milton opened the scor- ing at 8:18 of the first, but Jason Campbell from Brian Stuttard tied it for the Raiders. Milton would add another goal late in the first for a 2-1 lead after one. The third period was a rough one for M & M as Milton scored five straight goals for a commanding 7-1 lead. Derek Mitchell. with Michael Rovere assisting, for the M&M Pro Sports squad, made it 7-2.
