oormley and wilfred timber of muukeii the quality of the work wu the equal of any match at which they hadofflclated this year the event was brought to a successful eonehialon by a banquet in the milton town hall where upwards or 200 plow men and their friends enjoyed the sump tuous meal propai ladles of the mountain union institute under the leadership of presidents mrs wm dales with mr l w chtaholm president of the plowmens association in the chair brier addresses were made by warden john irving mayor carl martin reeve john mbklven of nelson township hughes cleaver m p and thoa blakalook mla in the announeement of the awards and presentation of prises the secretary and treasurer or the plowmens associa tion were assisted by fred robinson root pox reeve victor hall w j robertson and f h cmlroy the pro gram also included musical selections by the bennett orchestra of kilbride and solos by hugh beaty of milton all of which contributed not a little to the success of the evenings program an other pleasing feature of the program wu a vote appreciation to a number of those offering encouragement to the junior farmers of the county abty mov ed and seconded by two of halton junior farmers namely craig rcld and donald mcnabb of georgetown fol lowing a few words of appreciation to theladlea and other contributing to the success of the day by honorary presid ent rotary club last friday mr mason chose as the subject of his addreu the american boy scout jam boree a spectacle which he witnessed in washington dc last summer when 30000 boy scouts from all over the unit ed states gathered to attend the annual jamboree it seems almost impossible that such a large group of boy scouts could be assembled at any one place he tald yet in washington near the famous
