barrassing moments when on the station platform the catch on your travelling bag became unfastened and your travelling costume and perhaps some other articles that were not for public display were indiscriminately given a preview well if you have you would have appreciated the feelings of a young man at acton station last sunday evening as the train for toronto drew in this young man dropped a bottle well breaking glass on a cement platform drew attention but it was a blue bottle and there was no liquid exuding therefrom much to everyones surprise he stopped to gather up the contents and gingerly lifted a twofoot snake from the debris and put it over on the roadway and then gathered up the broken glass and put it away with the comment guess thats one that bill wont get the snake had succumbed to suf focation in its blue bottle but to quiet the nerves of those on thy platform a motorist barked his car a few inches and then came ahead and kept the wheel firmly on the snake and it was quite inert when the young man waved from the window as the train pulled out for the city and the snake remained in the country sometimes you dont have to travel far to see curious baggage and bottles do carry many things including real snakes citizens council board near set on lot h council met with representatives of the plnnning donrd e e barr t seynuck k m langdon and e sneyd monday
