entire team put one scores in one inning muckers are a game ahead in the threeoutoffive minor league ball playoffs with two wins to the hot shots one muckers took a decisive win on tuesday 13 to 4 and if they win again tonight thursday they will take the championship the score was fourall going into the sixth when the muckers scored nine runs in the last half of the sixth the entire team scored ex cept walker who was put out at third lindsay scored twice fryer pitched for the hot shots and coxe for the muckers although the muckers made a strong bid with five runs in the last half of the sixth and the first of the seventh innings hot shots hot triple play made all the difference in the playoff game last thursday hot shots took the match with a close 8 to 7 win from the second spot muckers george oakes pitched the hot shots to their victory with peter lawson pitching for the muckers each team had six hits the hot shots seven st and the muckers five highlight of the game and cause of considerable controversy was the triple play the hot shots pulled off the bases were loaded when the batter struck out the catcher drop ped the ball the batter thought he could run and started out and
