the group committee is endeavouring to start with a clean slate the project is a large one and should be shared with every citizen ih town remember every youngster is depending on you to provide scouting in acton ill erder to burn the mortgage existing on the scout house a financial campaign is being sponsored by the boy scout group committee and everyone is being given an opportunity to assist this is your chance to develop todays boys and girls into future citizens envelopes will be distributed door to door friday evening and picked up again monday night donors are asked to seal their contribution in the special envelope and have it ready for the scouts and guides when they call nearly 200 scouts guides cubs and brownies are dependent oh your assistance in supporting thir campaign the scout hall in acton built in 1952 provides a training place for nearly 200 scouts guides cubs and brownies and out standing commitments must be met immediately many improvements hdve been made in the past years in order to build character and provide better citizens for tomorrow the building must be maintained you can play an important role in this campaign by giving now sponsored by acton rotary club
