session wednesday eve ning to discuss methods of ad justing the town work force work big hours and rates of pay as well as determining supervision of the staff during the meeting attended by all members with the exception of reeve jack hargrave the re commendation of the admimstra tlon committee that no supervis ory personnel be maintained on the outside work staff with the exception of town superintend cnt alf duby was accepted it was also resolved to alter the salary schedule for a kirk jtcss s tennant and j lambert by putting them on an hourly rate each of the three employ ccs will alternate weekends doing necessary duties at the sewer and water plants they will be paid on a time and a half basis for saturdays and sundays all town work force employees will be paid for eight statutory holidays throughout the year following a discussion mem ben agreed to allow the work staff an increase amounting to five cents per hour effective jan uary 29 it was also agreed that with the exception of the town superintendent no employee wijj be allowed to take town equip ment home unless on weekend duty prior to the conclusion of the meeting council approved a sal ary increase to town
