dis trict free press says thursday the namesakes met at last j chief andy frank resplen dent in his full regalia solemn ly met sheriff andy frank of milton ont for the first time since they had discovered they were namesakes last autumn it was a high moment for both for sheriff n frank be cause he had travelled the long trail from milton about mid way between hamilton and toronto to meet chief frank and for chief frank because he had been able to take the sheriff in tow and show him the wonders of the land of his people both obviously were im pressed with one another to mark the meeting the sheriff of milton had given chief frank a secret talisman which the chief wears close to his vest for his part chief frank gave his newfound friend from ontario what the comox call a f hose a talis man which gives the receiver supernatural powers powers which will make him a great man among his own as he walked about chief franks home on the duke rd sheriff frank fairly bubbled with enthusiasm for the treat ment accorded him by chief frank and for the comox vat ley as a whole he pointed at the calm blue sea he pointed at the snowsprinkled moun- the green about him surely he said
