people who look at baseball only during the world series and football only for the grey cup but theres been football on the tv every weekend as one team after another has been eliminated now theres only saskatchewan and hamilton left its interesting to watch the trend toward rougher sports while professional b is fighting for its life in toronto the rough games are flourishing yet baseball is played in the balmy days of summer while the weather is pretty severe in november for football if it isnt muddy theres three inches of snow on the ground and the spectators need their long woolles and many of them take a few doses of stimulants bat baseball is a slow game and needs figures and statistics to keep it going in football lacrosse and hockey its the players who do the going the players are willing to take a chance on broken legs and such like its a game of bodily contact so if s exciting and the crowd eats it up in football the scoring makes it possible to come- from behind in a hurry and no team is out until the final whistle it theyre at all evenly matched from mostly gossip milton over a century of service to journalism has earned the canadian champion a century of service
