of 789 water utiles who were currently in the third slot gained on the dragons with their roll of 817 but lost ground to the popples sweet peas roll of 773 roses roll of 753 and poison ivys roll of league bowling in class i in the ckeefe provincial final at the sherwood lanes in hamilton last saturday ken came fourth and carolynne first to be crowned a provincial champion mary anderson energetic secretary of the blue springs league brought them further honors when she came first in the zone qualification roll in the cocacolas presidont ami secretary tournament held at the georgetown bowl last sundav the finals of this will be held at toronto time and place as yet to be announced this final will be followed by a dinnerdance and should be one of the highlights of the bowling season at this time of the season most of the leagues have wound it up utth their banquets which from til re ports have been successful some new officers have been elected for the 6869 season and we wish them every success to the retiring officers with whom we hate had the pleasure of working and cooperating with my twrsonal thnvs for a job well done being in close contact with the leagues as we are we know and sympathise with you in the problems that sometimes arise but in every case you the executive have always tried to act for your leagues beat good and for that im sure all your bowlers thank vol to our
