started off in enthusiastic acceptanie last wednesday october 8 when 25 children ringing in age from three to four years arrived to participate the original nursery school was started up last january when 20 children attended for two niurnings a week with mrs marilyn brace and mrs lois mcrae as he leaders assisted by numerous mothers helping periodically although it was difficult carrying on such a project with untrained staff the effurt proved worthwhile and three of the class programs consisted of such highlighting events as a visit to the fcnehanted doll house a farm trip and a safety program wherein all the children were included pie success of last years nursery school set up a demand fur the continuance of the pioject once again this term however bond of education requirements have lightened somewhat and it was necessary this year to have a certified and licensed leather in charge fortunate ihe rockwood parents were able to call on mrs cynthia luckman a recent eden mills resident who by thl same token has taken over ihe nursery school at eden mills also and leaches ihe children in that village on alternative days the rockwood nursery school which meets at ihe anglican parish hall is held regularly tvety wednesday and friday from 9 30 a m to 1 1 45 a m and it a cooperative one financed by ihe parents themselves with 16 mothers of ihe 25 enrolled children taking part and assisting in the program of games crafts and story telling approximately twice a month the executives and orpnizers of this years term are mrs marilyn brace president and mrs julie thatcher
