after many requests from the citi zens of georgetown and vicinity the executive of the georgetown football club decided to give a second dance of the season which was held in the town hall on friday april 25th the music was furnished by the martin ramsay orchestra of brampton who acquitted themealves as could only be expected a full programme w of 25 dances was provided including many old time dances the floor manager was the popular jack cain the hall which was tastefully decorated was again entrusted to mr william bryson the clubs worthy property manager and much credit and praise is due blm for his untiring energies in making the auditorium look more like a fairy land than a hall the red white and blue streamers extending from all angles being supported from the cen tre by the large union jack with mr moon accompanied by the stars shin ing high up above the decoratlons- when the music comenced there was a goodly number present but ere long it was more like a miniature firemans ball than an ordinary dance fully 200 couples being present mr stewart and his very able committee entrusted with the arrangement also deserve great credit for handling same in the very able manner in
