citizens may look ioruurd to having a hockey team in town this season while we can not get anything de finite as to whether we will have hockey teams in town this year we do know acton is trying awfully hard to get some of our junior players to play in the tanning town milton oakviue and acton all propose to enter junior teams this looks like a good time for george town to enter one too for with the players we already have and the wide territory to choose from we ought to be able to round up a team that could lead the group but watch for future blngos for the club has to clear up the deficit before they can start even talking hockey for this yeac the haltonpecl softball league which played its games at the george town arena this fall wound up the season jhst thursday night wncn fifth innings bramptoittried hard to get on the score sheec but hans hanklne on the mound for the wlnnva was too good for them oeordle little started pitching for the bramptonlans but lacked his usual style and had to retire and was replaced by bill weiler however the game was on ice for nerval by this time smlough- he pitched well for the balance of the game it was too late and so another softball
