costing 45 000 should be built toprovjde room for the teaching of mftih training and domestic science the question of building the new rooms was sub nutted to the property holders by the town council and the construction of the new wing was defeated subsequently dr p r watson chairman of the high school board pointed out that should high school students of the town desire tuition in manual training or domestic sci ence they could eelct to attend an other school and the georgetown tax payers would have to pay for tnetr tuition dr watson felt that such an arrangement woud prove more ex victory oyer milton at the arena here last thursday nlghtr in a scheduled league game both teams looked to be of about the same calibre at the outset but before the final gong georgetown porved themselves at lease a single goal better the first period was rather a mixed up affair with neither team being able to find their bearings owing to the close backchecking and indivi dual rushes was the result the first goal came in this period however when h coxe of milton cleared the puck into his own teams goal to give georgetown the advantage there were four penaltlejs in the first period georgetown getting three and mil ton one binsetl presswood stockford and brush in the second period much better hockey was played and the teams started to pep up the game with fas ter hockey therewas no scoring- and mcmurchy received the only penattjr for a minor misdemeanor while mil ton were penalized fox having too many players on the loaf at one time the third period waslhe fastest of the game in fact it was the fastest hockey that has been seen here this winter for the whole twenty min utes both teams tore up and down the ice at a mile amlnute pace it rvas not until late in the pericd that j kemshead went through on a beautiful solo effort to give george town their second counter times at thesame omethe coinurlltianrlattrcrflthe rough stuff in thb period and got down to hockey only three penalties were handed out brush of milton getting the first for tripping mcjiurchy while in a sco ing position and goldham and stock- ford both served time on the bench the juniors are certainly
