bird who passed away at her home lot 7 con 6 esquesing on saturday april 9th she was a daughter of the late mr and mrs stephen cook and was bom at nortonvule january 4th 1876 and lived in peel county until com ing to halton twentythree years ago deceased had just entered her home and was reading a paper when she was stricken and- passed away she was in her 62nd year a kind and loving mother a good neighbor and esteemed by all who knew her she was a member of ashgrove united church mr bird predeceased her two years ago she leaves to mourn her loss five sons howard in saska tchewan arthur of wlarton wilfrid herbert and lorne esquesing town ship the funeral took place on tuesday afternoon when the service was conducted by her pastor rev b eyre the pallbearers were messrs j mcdonald j neuson m sproat h moffat w brownridge and geo currie the remains were interred in brampton cemetery by the side of her husband many friends from far- and near were present at the funeral and accompanied the remains to the cemetery mrs william e allan following an illness of several weeks mrs william e allan passed peacefully away at the home of her daughter mrs e a mann on thurs day april 7th in her 82nd year the late mrs allan who before her mar riage was mary mceachern was born in erin township of scottish parent age a daughter of the late archibald mceachern and barbara maclean some sixty years ago she was joined in holy wedlock to william e allan of erin township who predeceased her seven years ago until six months ago when id failing health she took up residence with her daughter the late mrs allan made her home at the family homestead where her son john resides two sons and one daughter remain to moum the loss of a loving mother john l on the homestead in erin township mrs e a mann of erin township and archie f of detroit michigan one sister mrs d r mceachern of terra cotta also survive the deceased had been a lifelong member or ospringe presbyterian church
