seven sunday dooming dr frederick james hosking ell known physician of hillsdale was electroout ed the babys cries drew mrs hoskings attention to the fact that some thin was wrong hurrj ing to the bathroom she found her husband slump ed across one end of the tub with a sun lamp switched off on his chest the frightened child was the jaatjiat the other an immediate call was sent out for dr g e tanner of midland but artificial respiration which he tried immediate ly on arrival proved of no avail mrs hosking declared her husband had been in the habit of using the sun lamp on his chest for a few minutes each day while in the bath born in vermont on april 29 1906 or hos king was brought to can ada by his parents mr and mrs h s hodfclng when 6 years of age he lived in rockwood all his life graduating from the university at toronto faul of medicine in 1934 he spent one year as an interne in hamilton general hospital and then purchased the prac tice of dr c r rudolph hillsdale in 1935 surviving are his widow formerly edna may pear en rockwood whom he married in april 193a and two children bruce aged 3 j ears and wayne aged 14 months in addl tion to his parents mr and mrs h s friend of mckee died se veral hours later in guelph general hospital the accident occurred at the western town limit of georgetown on no t highway about 12 15 am passing motorists notified chief marshall and dr paul of georgetown who removed the broken bod- from the wreckage and a georgetown ambu lance rushed myers to guelph chief of police w o- marshall of georgetown investigated and said he believed excessive speed was the cause of the acci dent an inquest will probably be held he said coroner dr j a mc- niven ordered the body of mckeen removed to the funeral parlor here when it was held pending offi cial decision on an in quest dr paul gave first aid to myers both myers and mckee were natives of ireland where there parents re side myers leaves widow and three children in hamilton mckee was drummer for the lome cots regiment of bramp ton the two men were proceeding west iron georgetown to acton when the tragedy happened their 1931 model coupe plunged into the right- hand ditch
