on monday august 7th at his home there in his seventy fifth year born in erin township a son of the late robert dron and hannah lam bert he had resided nearly all his life in this district for the past twenty j ears he has been a resident of acton and resided for periods previous at toronto and huntsville robert dron was a carpenter by trade for many years he was a valued employee of the beardmore co later he was forced by failing health to relinquish his posi tion and he has taken small contracts his trade and been caretaker of knox presbyterian church he was a good workman and always oonsden uous and faithful to the task entrus ted to his care besides his wife two sons elmer of georgetown and mel- vln of trenton mourn his passing and revere his memory three brothers and
