whltaker of welland was a guest ot georgetown lions club at their dinner meeting in the mcolbbon house last monday introduced by lion chief leroy dale and district secretary bruce malcolm mr whltaker traced the growth ol lionism since it was founded in 191 by melville jones of chicago at present there are some 4500 clubs in 14 countries with total membership of almost 180 000 in canada there are
