vic tory bonds this is 147 of the 385000 objective and leads all other sntijea to halton county by a good margin of this amount 348400 a little over the total quota for the dis trict was subscribed in georgetown and 177100 in eoqueslng as a ape- l mark of honour for this achleve- jnt the halton county plaque will i presented to georgetown and dis trict next wednesday night at 8 o clock in the municipal building the public is invited to be present a t weldon oakville county chairman will make the presentation oakville and district were second high in the county with 136 of their objective who officially opened the bazaar and af ter the singing of god save the king the bazaar was in full swing the various booths were very pretty decorated in the lodge colors of pink and green and filled to capacity with articles made mostly by the mtmbers the booths included fancy work treasure chest home baking fish pond and toy animals of every description the tea room was well patronized during
