their families looking so fit and well cpl eddie francis one of the first men fsom town- to enlist has been a prisonerofwar in germany ever since dieppe according to those who saw him eddie was helping get the wound ed back to the boats when the ger mans took him prisoner opl francis la quite thin but otherwise in good health and very glad to be back in panada he repeated what he em phasised in mi letters that if the lied orosa hadnt provided food he would have starred as rations were so poor during the retreat of the ger mans before the russians the naatt arced the prisoners to march s
