blind you help to keep blind people in employment to provide blind people with an excellent library service to make it possible to have blind men and women taught braille typing and handi crafts in their own homes to maintain the organization that looks afer theatre and street car passes for blind people to maintain a field service manned by blind men who see to it that the services of the institute are carried to all parts of the province to look after the upkeep of residences for blind people to support a social service department which gives an enormous amount of assst- ance to blind people to provide emergency relief for blind people for whom no work can be found to insure that blind people are given proper medical attention to help spread the campaign constantly in progress for the prevention of blindness- and to give blind people wherever they are in ontario every possible kind of help to which they are justly entiled the 24 blind residents of halton county are in constant touch with the canadian national institute for the blind through its local office every effort is made to provide these sightless persons with the necessities of life and a few of its luxuries by
