owner duncan mcdougall purchased the land who transferred the proper to the son in these days of many farm changes a centwy holding by one family is indeed unusual mr mcdougall is retiring owing to falling health it is also interesting to note that in 1682 one rood of land was given to du blin school for a well the property was never used and the land reverted back into the farm holding bowling
