organteed in ontario in l46 haltton was represented by six teams in all two being in dairy cattle two in grata and one each in both swine and clothing in the swine project with 34 coun ties represented the halton team of fraser monabb georgetown and kettfc merry hornby won top hon ours as a result they hold the far ther magazine trophy emblematic of tbe provincial championship for the ensuing twelve months incidentally fraser mcnabb was the high man of the competition with a score of 630 points oilt of a possible 600 these two young men will now represent ontario in the inter provincial olub competitions to be held at the royal winter fair on nov 11th the gram club project brought out 31 teams and here the halton grain olub team of carlo toccallno of bronte and douglas currie of geor getown placed- second to brant conn ty the w inner of the competition carlo toccallno was the second high man of the competition with a score of 533 out of a possible 600 halton s second team composed of geo wilson of georgetown and victor starrett ol glen williams representing the hal ton galore barley club placed tenth in the same contest in the dairy cattle project with 38 teams competing the milton hol- stein calf club was represented bj douglas alexander of georgetown and gordon darby of rockwood while the halton jersey calf club was rep resented b james de lin of milton and tom alderson of hornbj whilt neither team achie ed top honour we understand they made an excellent showing in this strong competition girls clothing clubs also partici dated in the da s programme top honours were won bj a team represei tmg the vellore club of york count halton s team representing the ashgrove club was composed of the mioses jessie and mae wingfleld and they too made
