display merchants wares with practically only two weeks left before the big georgetown fall pair the directors ol the eajueatag agri cultural society are meeting almost weekly in order that no stone shall be left unturned so the 101st fair will live up to all expectations now ser ving his fifth tenn as president craig held is showing fine leadership and and has all directors rallied together to put the show over the executives of both the ladies and mens section met at the home of mrs j h hunter last week and last evening the entire directorate met for the final meeting before the fair at the home of k al exander 8th line if the hall exhibit lives up to ad vanoo notices it should be well filled again the ladles section with domes tic science lanciwork and crafts should be well to the fore while the school children exhibits will be one of th main attractions the arts and crafts society plan another large exhibit with pottery being the theme and the dominion goverment display will again take up the east corner of the hall the display of grain by norval ju nlor fanners is expected to exceed last years tine show new clas aes have been added and trophies awarded for championships flowers and vegetables should be at their best by fair time pad some keen competi tlon will be looked for a new feature ol the fair will be the big tent housing displays by george town merchants if there are any merchants who would like space here they should contact the fair directors immediately so that they can be al lotted a portion of the space available you are united to visit this tent and see the nany new appliances on display some displays coming direct from the torcrto exhibition more and con enient eating places will be at the fair this year and at least two institute branches will cater to the needs of the public while along a big iridway there will prob ably be hot do standi and games ol all kinds and lon t forget the stan ger shows hae been booked for the fair with their rides and other at tractions yes there will be plentj of enter taihment at the fair but what the directors woul like most is for more and more local exhibitors o take part in the fair show anj thing
