safe guarding their health by having a tree chest x ray when a community x ray survey begins here 29th octo ber 1947 announced last night the survey will be- conducted by the lions club on the 29th 30th 31st of october under the auspices of the ontario tuberculosis association in order that georgetown citizens may be registered for the survey v house tohouse canvass will be made before the actual survey gets under way the georgetown survey is part of the war on tuberculosis begun by the ontario tuberculosis association hi cooperation with the ontario de partment of health to cut in half dies at norval home a resident of norval for the past twelve years william mcmichael died at his home on sunday sep tember 28th he was bom at cllf ford in bruce county and had spent most of his life as a farmer going as a young man to manitoba and later to saskatchewan he spent seven teen years in ireland and returned to canada to farm near mclea saskatchewan after retiring from farming he lived fox awhile with his daughter in montreal until he moved to norval he is survived by his wife form erly frances alexander and one daughter mrs c church of mon treal he also leaves three brothers and five years clarence james buck passed away in toronto gen eral hospital on saturday morning september 27th after an illness of some several weeks duration born in georgetown he was va son of the late james m- buck he at tended public and high school here and was a second year student at the school of practical science unl verslty of toronto at the tune of his fathers death in 1923 when he returned to take over the business mr buck was one of the most po oular of georgetown merchants and enjoyed a good patronage at his attractive store on mill street he was a member of the united church and an
