tennis badminton table tennis archery art classes svwing and weaving and a number of the better known hobbies in discussing this programme it was pointod out that most of theso ac tivities requrod equipment and fac ilities which the grc cither could not afford or did not possess at tho present time however it was felt that u aoftball ami baseball pro gramme should be inaugurated which would few helpers carried out the firsfseoson of organized teams an effort was albo made to en courage truck and field sport both among the boys and girls and udults to this end a field day ws arranged for the august holiday and uttructed a lurge number of entrants from the surrounding com munities through the gejaerosity of one of georgetowns citizens 10000 was donated to purchase cups medals and
