noticed that none of the girl were bragging about their birth days anymore we must be getting old the nicest part of the week tsi our opinion was the wedding of darrell dawson and philip howard being a guest had its disadvantages so decided to stay on the outs id for awhile and get a better perspec tive had taken a peek at the church and found it decorated beautifully in red and white first wc saw mrs don dawott- nance to her friends charming as usual in a green taffeta gown- then we noticed mrs ernest daw son darrclls mother in smoker blue gown with matching hat trimmed with cardinal red fea ther in keeping with the colour scheme trying to slip unobtru sively into thp church and look ing almost like a bride herself the flower girl little gail daw son was lovely in pink then carnal barbara dawson as maid of honor margaret brtmlcy and mario lccklc as bridesmaids dressed alike in cardinnl red taffeta a fit ting colour for an autumn wed- ding they vuerc outstandingly striking surely 1 thought 4 bride can look nicer than these and then came darrell so beautl ful in her ivory blush wedding gown that no words could des cribe her and t thought of music sunshine and flowers and all things of bearw willi the girls choir singing brother jamej a darrell came in with her father with radiant happiness on her face to meet philip our own archdeacon w g o thompson waited to perform the ceremony in his usual sincer manner all was happiness and fun at the reception for about one hun dred and fifty guests where mrs dawson and mis howard received many and beautiful were the gifts darrell and phil received during the taking of pictures a rainbow appeared across the river and those nineteen ducks which have been in everything the dawsotft family have done this year wer in the
