oldest merchants one of georgetowns veteran businessmen john nicholas oneill died in toronto on wednesday august 10th mr oneill had been in failing health after suffering a stroke some time ago born in port hope on july 4th 1880 be purchased a business in alloa chlnguscousy township in 1890 two years later he married elizabeth jane coventry and in january 1800 they moved to geor getown when mr oneill purch ase the carriage shop of culp and mckenzle this was later expan ded to include an automobile ag ency and garage fire destroyed the original building in 1022 and a new building was erected
