beer were well to the fore both in thev dry and milking clas ses winning fourth in the dry class on lidla graymar ash bes sie and first on lidla graymar beech bessie this latter heifer was a strong contender for the reserve senior championship and also for the trophy awarded to the best ud- dered female in the show spring farm juliette for j m fraser was a worthy grand champion and also won the award as the best udder- ed female inasmuch as some holstein breeders are under the i that juliette is just a show cow may we point out that on two time milking she has a re cord of 21002 lbs milk and 031 lbs tat joe trimble of trafalgar township hit the headlines in the four year old milking class with lilly belle pabst placing second in a strong class spruceleigh annabelle a veteran winner on numerous occasions at halton county shows was in fifth tor ross segsworth in the aged milking cow class another high light for the segsworth herd was the win by spruceleigh chieftain dorothea for rosafe farms in the milking two year old it will be recalled that this heifer was sold at the 1949 all canadian sale for 1750 the progeny of dam class was another tough one bringing to gether 39
